Snapshots: Christmas Market In Aachen

Chris and I went to Aachen, in Germany, the other day and we had so much fun! There’s a Christmas market going on over there and so we went in the evening to visit the market and buy some Christmas presents.

First we went into a few shops and even though it was Tuesday it was still really busy. After that we went to this local pub where we ate Chris’s favorite dish: schnitzel with mushroom sauce.

The schnitzel was really good and so we started our Christmas market adventure. Honestly it’s a big Christmas market and so we had to figure out where to start. There are a lot of commercial stands which has nothing to do with Christmas BUT there are also a few very ‘Christmassy’ stands.

Some stands were selling handmade ornaments, we bought a really pretty one but since it will be a present I can’t show a picture haha. A lot of ornaments and Christmas decorations were made out of wood and we visited this one Christmas stand which had these amazing cookies! Those cookies with some Starbucks were absolutely amazing and I’m really happy Chris enjoyed his first Christmas market in Germany as well!

We left eventually with a few bags of presents which we will send to Texas to his family!

Enjoy the pictures!

Love,
