Fall is slowly coming upon us and so I feel there are more activities to do around here. For example Oktoberfest!

Last weekend has been really busy but in a good way. We started our weekend with going to an Oktoberfest on Friday. It was organized by Chris’s German colleagues so the whole place was decorated Bayern style! There was a lot of beer to drink, really good German food and some good music.

Some people were dressed up with some traditional German clothing and others, like Chris and I, had some fun accessories we could wear. Maybe we’ll try to get some traditional German clothing for next year as well!

So on Saturday I stayed at my parents’ house and we did some groceries to make sushi. I really really really love sushi and luckily I’m not the only one in the family! My sister and I like to go on a sushi date every now and then but my dad wanted for us to try to make our own sushi. We got all the necessary product and so Saturday evening my sister and I created some good sushi! I didn’t knew that my sister had a hidden sushi talent. She made most of the rolls and we even deep fried some, nom nom nom (I hope I don’t offend anybody with that). Since we made so much we could have a second day of sushi galore!

Here are some of the snapshots of the Oktoberfest and the homemade sushi!

The pictures are taken with my iPhone therefor their a bit blurry.

Love,
